In the latter half of the 20th century, a nationwide census prompted the government to inspect the mountainous regions with the highest percentage of centenarian residents. There may be side effects from consuming jiaogulan. It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women to consume jiaogulan, or for people who are taking medication for an immune system-related issue. Consult a healthcare professional if you have health problems or are taking medications that could interact with it.
Attention : Almost all jiaogulan found online is grown in greenhouses in China under indoor lighting and is sprayed with tons of pesticides and insecticides and filled with plant growth hormones to make them grow faster. Heavy metals and chemicals are even used to make it sweeter.
